How to Clean Your Filters

Here is a list on how to clean your filters.

Cleaning the Filters

CLEANING METHOD
D3D
Dust/Spray Pads
  • Vacuum pads lightly whilst in frame to remove accumulated dust
  • Remove from frame and vacuum thoroughly (or blow off with compressed air)
  • Replace in frame
IF4 Intake Filters
  • Make sure DP Dust Pad is removed from front of filter
  • Vacuum (or blow off with compressed air)
  • Replace DP Dust Pad

Washing - filter may be pressure washed MAX 400 psi

  • Remove from machine
  • Pre soak filter lightly from both sides
  • Pressure wash from the FRONT ONLY, through the white pad
  • Allow to drain and dry overnight
  • When TOTALLY dry, replace DP Dust Pad
CF2 Carbon Filter
CANNOT be cleaned - (old style 7lb) remove and shake to turn carbon granules - replace
PF50 Viledon Pocket Filter
CANNOT be cleaned - replace annually
     
D2 Bodyshop
Dust Pads
  • Vacuum pads lightly whilst in frame to remove accumulated dust
  • Remove from frame and vacuum thoroughly (or blow off with compressed air)
  • Replace in frame
  • DO NOT WASH
 
Intake Filter
  • Make sure DP Dust Pad is removed from front of filter
  • Vacuum pleats horizontally and vertically(or blow off with compressed air)

WARNING Filter may be pressure washed MAX 400 psi

  • Remove from machine
  • Pre soak filter from both sides
  • Then wash pleats from the FRONT only, through the white pad
  • Allow to drain and dry overnight
  • When TOTALLY dry, replace DP Dust Pad
  • Replace in machine
 
Carbon Filter
  • CANNOT be cleaned.
  • REFILL when saturated - see refill instructions
